Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, contract role supporting students' communication growth and academic success. This school-based opportunity offers two part-time openings for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a tangible difference during the 2026-2027 academic year. With flexible weekly schedules (25-30 hours), you'll help young learners enhance their speech, language, and social skills in an encouraging environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Relevant certification as an SLP - CCC or eligibility as an
SLP - CFY
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, or a strong desire to transition into one
  • Familiarity with the unique needs of K-12 students
  • Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A drive to create positive outcomes for children in diverse school communities Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Delivering intervention services directly to students both individually and in groups
  • Participating in IEP meetings and assisting with progress monitoring and documentation
  • Consulting with teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies in classrooms
  • Maintaining accurate records and complying with school and district guidelines This contract role will run from July 30, 2026 through May 22, 2027, aligning with the school calendar to provide work-life balance and regular breaks.
