Bachelor\'s Degree Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders Required Experience Qualifications:
Clinical experience in services to speech-language impaired student
Preferred Skills Qualifications:
Knowledge of child development.

Ability to communicate with others in an effective and tactful manner.

Strong organizational skills. Ability to be flexible.

Ability to work as an effective team member.

Ability to act as a representative of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services and assist with workload duties as assigned by a certified Speech Language Pathologist. Provide Speech-Language therapy services on interim basis for Speech Language Pathologist on leave or vacant Speech Language Pathologist positions. Meet with the student in designated areas within school building.

Meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements. Communicate with school staff regarding the students they are serving. Utilize verbal, e-mail, and written communication to coordinate services of students. Communicate with parents under the supervision of the Speech/Language Pathologist regarding student\'s progress or other parental concerns.

Document student performance and report findings to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist. Maintain all paperwork established on existing students.

Document and track services, progress, attendance, and data collection. Perform school level duties as assigned by local school principal. Adhere to assigned local school staff expectations.

Ensure the continuation of school duties.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
