Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on an opportunity to support students on their communication journeys as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a dedicated school population. This contract role is ideal for professionals who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to help each individual achieve their communication goals, whether onsite or via teletherapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and team members Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to varied caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy both in-person and through teletherapy modalities Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements Engage in case conferences, IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings Educate and support families and school staff regarding intervention strategies
