This contract-based opportunity offers hands-on experience with pediatric caseloads, including in-person and teletherapy services, within a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license in Hawaii (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued Proficiency with teletherapy platforms beneficial Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and communication with students, families, and team members Passion for supporting diverse learners
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with a range of communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Conduct both in-person and teletherapy sessions as required Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and outcomes Engage with staff, families, and caregivers to share strategies and updates Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing team communication
