Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication skills as a contract speech-language pathologist. This opportunity is designed for talented professionals with experience in school settings, pediatrics, teletherapy, and both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and CCC credentials. Ideal candidates possess:
Active or eligible SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY support Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within educational settings Skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in delivering both on-site and teletherapy services as needed Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and progress reporting efficiently In this contract position, you will: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, from evaluation through recommendations Create and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs Support students with a diverse range of diagnoses and communication challenges Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with all professional and district standards Consult and collaborate with educators, school personnel, and families to foster student growth Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Utilize teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery when required This role offers flexibility and a supportive environment where your expertise is appreciated.
