Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an innovative educational environment near Waipahu, HI. Utilize your expertise to help children thrive—whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC, a recent graduate completing your CFY, or have a strong background in pediatric teletherapy.
Skills & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings ideal Teletherapy experience a plus; confidence with digital therapy platforms highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' IEPs Provide direct therapy—either on-site or via teletherapy platforms—to enhance students' communication abilities Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and team discussions as needed Enjoy ongoing support in a dynamic school community focused on student growth.
