Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion and expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to students in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity, situated near Waipahu, HI, allows you to empower young learners while expanding your SLP experience in the school setting. We are looking for professionals who excel in communication, assessment, and intervention for students with a wide variety of speech and language needs. Whether you are an experienced SLP-CCC or a recent graduate seeking your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), you'll work alongside a collaborative special education team dedicated to providing exceptional services. What You'll Need to
Succeed:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required for CFY candidates Strong understanding of K-12 school environments and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and student growth
Your Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of communication disorders in students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support each student's learning goals Maintain accurate documentation and reports according to school policies Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and small group settings In this rewarding role, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference for children and families while building relationships with educators and allied professionals.
