Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist serving in a skilled nursing facility setting. This dynamic role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to make a real difference in patients' lives across the continuum of care. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals Perform dysphagia assessments and provide safe swallowing interventions Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, OT, PT, physicians, and dietitians Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Participate in care plan meetings and team conferences as needed Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state SLP license (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a SNF or geriatric setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Relocation assistance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay 401(k) and retirement savings plans Continuing education and professional development opportunities Life insurance and disability coverage Additional voluntary benefits available At Career Links, we're committed to matching exceptional clinicians with top-tier healthcare facilities.
