Aug 10, 2026 Job Description Speech-Language Pathologist Full-Time | 2026-27 School Year | 192-Day Contract Are you passionate about helping every student reach their full potential? Heartland AEA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2026-27 school year. Heartland AEA supports 57 public school districts, 44 accredited nonpublic schools, and 2 charter schools across central Iowa. This full-time position working a 192-day contract would be based out of our Newton office serving the Lynnville-Sully and Newton school districts. What You'll Do Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students' communication needs. Conduct speech-language assessments that are relevant to the presenting concern and meaningful within educational and home contexts. Plan, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions using a variety of service delivery models. Support the generalization of communication skills across settings through collaboration and consultation. Why Join Us?
