Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a crucial role as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) and make a tangible difference in students' lives for the new school year. This rewarding contract position is located near the vibrant Moscow, ID area and offers a part-time schedule of 2.5 days (20 hours) per week. The position has remained open throughout the most recent school year, and your expertise is needed to provide essential support as soon as possible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience with school-based therapy and IEP processes is highly valued Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Proven organizational skills and flexibility in a dynamic school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions for students across grade levels Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to ensure student success Provide consultation, support, and education to parents and staff Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with district and regulatory guidelines Imagine the fulfillment of being the difference-maker for a school community seeking your support.
