Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful school-based opportunity serving elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Algonquin, IL vicinity. This contract position offers you the ability to tailor your hours around the standard school day while supporting a caseload of 35-40 students, all within a single elementary site. Your bilingual Spanish fluency will be fundamental, as you'll manage dual enrollment caseloads within a dual language program. New CFY graduates are welcome—supervision is provided to foster professional growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Bilingual in Spanish or fluency required (due to program/communication needs) Experience or interest in school-based and elementary settings Comfort and enthusiasm for working with dual language programs and Spanish-speaking students Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy services to elementary-aged students Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support personnel to develop and implement IEPs Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation Participate in orientations and receive ongoing onsite support Provide culturally responsive services within a Spanish-English dual language program
