Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Shape young minds and make an impact by providing vital speech and language services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers a rewarding experience working with a diverse student population in a supportive and collaborative school environment located near Arlington Heights, IL.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates Experience or adaptability to working in K-12 educational settings Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to providing both direct and indirect student servicesKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation, evaluations, and reports Participate in IEP meetings and help shape program goals tailored to each student Focus solely on your contracted responsibilities—no bus duty or after-hours supervision requiredBenefits and Perks:
