Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving school environment near Carlyle, IL. Two full-time positions are available, with openings to serve either 4th-8th grades or Early Childhood through 1st grade. Whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC, a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or seeking travel assignments, your expertise will directly impact young learners' communication skills and overall confidence.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current (or pending) state licensure for SLPs; open to both SLP-CCC and CFY candidates Experience in or passion for working with school-aged or pediatric populations Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech-language services in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop effective therapy plans, and maintain accurate records Deliver student-centered interventions both individually and in small groups Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and staff Engage with students in either 4th-8th grade or EC, Kindergarten, and 1st grade (depending on assigned caseload) Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive learning environment This contract position offers the security of a full-time schedule and the flexibility to build your professional experience in a welcoming school setting.
