Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) fluent in Spanish to support students from early childhood through 8th grade. This role is based in Champaign, IL, within a school setting. The position offers the chance to provide specialized speech and language support to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
Deliver bilingual speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 10-15 Spanish-speaking students. Manage an additional monolingual caseload, with total students served ranging from 40 to 45 if full-time. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school's educational goals. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Fluency in Spanish and English, with experience providing bilingual therapy services. Strong understanding of speech-language development from early childhood through middle school. Ability to work with varied caseload sizes and adapt to part-time or full-time schedules. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Location:
Champaign, Illinois Contract Duration:
Start in early August (around August 11th or 12th) through May 28th, with some flexibility depending on emergency days. This role offers a meaningful way to impact student development while working in a supportive school environment.
