  • Contract Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.

Step into a dynamic in-person contract role as a bilingual (Spanish-English) Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the greater Chicago and North Chicago regions. With opportunities to impact PreK-8 learners, you'll foster meaningful progress by providing direct therapy and support in a rich, multicultural community. The assignment runs from July 20, 2026, to June 11, 2027, primarily across designated campuses serving various grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current SLP-CCC license and eligibility to practice in Illinois. Experience in a school-based setting, with a strong understanding of IEP planning. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required). Previous work with PreK-8 student populations preferred. Ability to travel to multiple school campuses as needed. Strong collaborative, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring. Develop, implement, and update IEPs, collaborating closely with general education and special education staff as well as families. Serve as a resource for bilingual and multicultural communication within your caseload. Engage with school teams to support a positive, inclusive learning environment. Maintain timely and accurate documentation consistent with school and state requirements. Support a broad community of learners across several sites, fostering language development in bilingual and English Language Learner (ELL) populations.
