Step into a dynamic in-person contract role as a bilingual (Spanish-English) Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the greater Chicago and North Chicago regions. The assignment runs from July 20, 2026, to June 11, 2027, primarily across designated campuses serving various grade levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current SLP-CCC license and eligibility to practice in Illinois. Experience in a school-based setting, with a strong understanding of IEP planning. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required). Previous work with PreK-8 student populations preferred. Ability to travel to multiple school campuses as needed. Strong collaborative, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring. Develop, implement, and update IEPs, collaborating closely with general education and special education staff as well as families. Serve as a resource for bilingual and multicultural communication within your caseload. Engage with school teams to support a positive, inclusive learning environment. Maintain timely and accurate documentation consistent with school and state requirements. Support a broad community of learners across several sites, fostering language development in bilingual and English Language Learner (ELL) populations.
