Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling career as an Onsite Speech Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year, serving students in a K-12 setting. This contract position is situated near Collinsville, IL, and offers the chance to collaborate with a welcoming, supportive team dedicated to positive student outcomes. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are pursuing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise will play a crucial part in transforming students' communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure CCC or CFY candidates both welcomed Schools-based SLP experience preferred, though strong clinical backgrounds will be considered Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to providing services in-person (onsite)
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff for cohesive intervention plans Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reporting Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language services As part of this school-centered opportunity, you'll benefit from a manageable caseload that allows for focused, quality interventions.
