This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their CCC credential and have experience working in school settings. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Recent experience in a K-12 school or educational setting Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention, and service delivery for school-aged children Strong communication and organizational abilities Active state licensure for
Speech-Language Pathology Responsibilities:
Provide onsite speech-language therapy to students in a transitional program Deliver group and individual sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, and social skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, document progress, and report outcomes in a timely manner Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment Maintain clear and positive communication with caregivers and educational staff
Role Details:
Onsite position near Elgin, IL Schedule runs June 1st through June 25th, Monday through Thursday Working hours: 7:30am - 1:30pm (students present 8am - 1pm) Approximately 24 hours per week Provide support in a structured transitional program designed to bridge learning for students during the early summer weeks This short-term assignment is perfect for those wanting to make a meaningful difference in a flexible, focused summer session.
