Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in a school setting located in Elgin, IL. This role involves working with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience in school-based speech therapy and be dedicated to supporting student development and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Maintain accurate records and progress reports Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
Qualifications:
Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Experience working in school settings preferred Strong understanding of speech and language development in children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment
