This position provides the opportunity to work with both pediatric and transition students (aged 18-22). This role involves delivering neurodiversity-affirming speech therapy and social communication training in a private therapeutic day school. The role is somewhat customizable depending on the goals and skills of the individual therapist. Duties Evaluation and treatment of individuals with speech and language disorders Keep documentation up to date Educate families and caregivers Collaborate with related professionals Requirements Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (Strong clinical fellow candidates considered) Experience working with all ages in an outpatient setting Experience or willingness to learn any of these areas: voice, fluency, feeding, oral motor, literacy, AAC, natural language acquisition, neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches Experience working with school-age and teens preferred You may be a good fit for this position if: You are excited for the opportunity to grow with a business You enjoy working with all age groups (kids, teens, adults) You are interested in learning a specialty
