Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your passion for communication and child development to a dynamic, supportive educational environment! Speech-Language Pathologists in this contract opportunity will work full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a diverse K-12 caseload from August 19, 2026, through June 7, 2027. This school-based role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while advancing your own clinical expertise.
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience supporting pediatric and school-aged populations (K-12) Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Key responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within a school setting Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Track student progress, manage documentation, and communicate regularly with parents and staff Provide consultative support to teachers and participate in team meetings Supervise or mentor CFY clinicians and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture Enjoy weekly pay and a comprehensive selection of health, dental, and vision plans tailored to keep you focused and energized.
