Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathologist working with K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy a contract position that offers a strong professional environment, supporting a diverse range of students while focusing fully on direct and indirect speech-language services throughout your workday. Experience the support of a dedicated team and a manageable schedule: this role is designed so all responsibilities are contained within your contracted hours—no extra duties such as bus or cafeteria supervision required. You'll have guaranteed hours, the opportunity to serve a varied caseload, and receive compensation for both direct and indirect service time. Travel therapists can qualify for additional stipends, creating further flexibility in your assignment.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Valid SLP license for Illinois or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP or the ability to complete your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience with K-12 populations preferred, but strong CFYs are encouraged Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Consult with teachers, families, and support staff Complete required documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate Contribute to multidisciplinary teams without additional non-therapeutic assignments Benefits for
