We are an SLP-owned practice. This role consists of 60-80% Early Intervention (birth to three) and 20-40% private pay families in Lake County and north suburban Cook County. Travel is 5-20 minutes between each visit; usually around 10 minutes. Opportunities for bilingual therapy. Excellent retention of SLPs. Learn skills to build your own practice; doing so after working for Little Whale Therapy is encouraged! Position Requirements Master's Degree from an ASHA-accredited program Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing Early Intervention Specialist credential, or willingness to obtain Driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance Experience and understanding of child-led, play-based, responsive intervention Eagerness to work collaboratively with families and other professionals Interest in becoming a contributing member of a growing team Exceptional oral and written communication skills Position Responsibilities Evaluate, develop goals, and provide evidence-based treatment interventions for children via primarily in-person and occasional telehealth service delivery. Participate in the Early Intervention Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process, including attending meetings, communicating with team members, evaluating outcomes, and writing reports. Independently manage a caseload and schedule. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Benefits Provided Competitive compensation
