Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting students for the 2025-2026 academic year as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract assignment runs from August through May and offers a chance to make a substantive impact on children's communication success. The position serves students in multiple sites with diverse caseloads, including direct therapy and consultative services. Your expertise will help provide exceptional support to students across Morris area schools, covering caseloads such as Morris (serving 39 students—33 direct and 6 consult), GCSEC, Nettle Creek, TLC (consult only), Minooka Intermediate Autism (6 students), and Walnut Trails Autism (15 students). High-minute, varied caseloads offer the opportunity to work directly with neurodiverse populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Prior experience working in a school setting is a must Strong knowledge of IEP processes and service delivery in schools Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively across different school sites as part of an interdisciplinary teamResponsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP mandates Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and document outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers Travel between campuses within assignment to address caseload needs Provide high-quality, student-focused care and adapt interventions to diverse learning environments Ready to shape young lives while working within an engaging educational community?
