Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services in a supportive school setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract position runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering a chance to make a positive impact on students' communication and learning.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous school-based SLP experience required Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Proficiency working with diverse caseloads and varying levels of student need Collaborative approach, ready to consult with school teams, teachers, and families Effective written and verbal communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to assigned students Manage caseloads including elementary and intermediate students with varying needs, including autism spectrum disorder Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Complete appropriate documentation and service logs Participate in meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Provide consultative services as needed at select schools Adapt interventions to effectively serve high-minute and high-needs populations
Caseload Details:
Work with up to 39 students (33 direct, 6 consult) in one area and additional caseloads focused on autism support Serve multiple local schools in consultative and direct capacities Full-time schedule (32.5-37.5 hours per week) If you are passionate about fostering communication and helping students succeed in an educational environment, this is your opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic and impactful setting. to play a vital role throughout the school year and make a lasting difference for these students.
