Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types A rewarding opportunity is now available for a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist in the Morris, IL area. This role is based in a supportive school environment, focusing on elementary and intermediate school caseloads. You'll support students in developing essential communication skills through individualized and group sessions while collaborating closely with educational staff and families to foster student progress.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Current Illinois SLP License and PEL (Professional Educator License) required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Previous experience or interest in working within a school setting Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Positive communication skills and collaborative approach
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders Maintain accurate and timely documentation for progress monitoring and compliance Consult with teachers and parents regarding students' progress, strategies, and accommodations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices Benefits of the
