Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year at a welcoming educational setting near O'Fallon, IL. This onsite, contract opportunity lets you make a meaningful difference in students' lives while working alongside a supportive team that values collaboration and professional growth. You'll work with a manageable caseload of K-12 students, helping them achieve crucial communication milestones and gain confidence in the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for CFY supervision Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Compassionate, student-focused approachKey Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP goals Track student progress, document outcomes, and prepare detailed reports Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planningWhat You'll Enjoy:
