Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role serving students in a supportive educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is perfect for professionals ready to make an impact and provides stability across three full-time positions for qualified individuals holding a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement CCC-SLP certification preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP practice, including working with diverse student populations Reliability, strong organization, and effective communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK-12 settings Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both one-to-one and in small groups Maintain clear documentation of progress, compliance, and parent communication as required by school policies and state guidelines Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
