Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist - High School Setting Richton Park, Illinois (Near Tinley Park) Next School Year | Onsite Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position in the Richton Park area. This Next School Year opportunity offers a manageable caseload and a flexible 3-day-per-week schedule supporting high school students.
Position Overview:
School year: August 10, 2026 - May 27, 2027
Schedule:
3 days per week (must include Tuesdays; remaining days flexible)
Hours:
8:00 AM - 3:00
PM Caseload:
Fewer than 30 students Grade levels: 9th-12th grade Onsite only School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility meetings Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district/state guidelines
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred
Experience & Education:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Prior secondary (high school) experience preferred
Work Hours:
3 days per week 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Tuesday required, other days flexible)
Employment Type:
Contract - W2
Compensation:
$50-55/hour DOE (average ~$53/hour, depending on years of experience)
