Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist - School-Based (2026-2027 School Year) Streamwood, Illinois Onsite | Contract Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position in the Streamwood area for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule with a K-8 caseload and potential ESY extension.

Position Overview:

School year: August 11, 2026 - May 27, 2027 (high potential for summer extension)

Full-time:

32 hours per week

Caseload:

K-8 students Onsite only School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.

Important Notes:

No SLPAs will be considered CF candidates may be considered

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, behavioral staff, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district/state requirements

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred

Experience & Education:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Prior school-based experience preferred

Work Hours:

32 hours per week (full-time schedule)

Employment Type:

Contract - W2

Compensation:

$54+/hour starting (average ~$57/hour DOE, depending on years of experience)
