Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Chesterton, IN. This contract role is ideal for licensed SLP professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and school policies Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP license or certification appropriate for school settings Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
