Job Description

Empowering Kids Pediatric Therapy, LLC Speech Therapist Job Description Empowering Kids Pediatric Therapy is an actively growing pediatric clinic located in Columbus, Indiana. We service clients in our clinic; our clients are not only based in Columbus, but also come from Shelbyville, North Vernon, Seymour, Elizabethtown, Edinburgh and other surrounding cities. Our goal is to partner with families to provide thoughtful, individualized speech-language and occupational therapy that supports children in becoming confident, capable and joyful participants in their daily lives. Our team is looking for additional members who are enthusiastic about helping children to meet their goals, working with clients' families, and willing to be a team player as we grow our clinic to best support our community.
  • ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP), current Indiana License
  • 14-40 hours per week (as agreed upon between employee and owner)
  • Must be professional with clients and their family
  • Enthusiastic and energetic individual who enjoys working with children, wants to continue to learn and implement evidence based practices, and thrives in a team environment
  • Will consider CF
  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Professionally provide counseling to clients and their family about results of testing and recommended plan of care
  • Complete session and progress notes in a timely and organized manner
  • Refer patients to other medical professionals as needed
