Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a school setting located in Crown Point, IN. This contract opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants, including recent graduates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Years (CFY).
Key Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete CFY Experience working with school-aged children is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within educational teams Ability to conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services aligned with school requirements
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers, parents, and support staff Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports Support students' academic and social language development through evidence-based interventions
