WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations, treatment and related follow-up services, including discharge planning. Document patient assessments and pertinent information in a timely manner. Complete appropriate goal re-assessment and discharge planning. Provide speech therapy, including selection, and use of assistive equipment. Collaborate with patient and other healthcare personnel, or outside agencies, regarding coordination of care. Provide speech and language therapy, according to standards of care defined by the state practice act, and other professional and governing agencies. Train and educate patients and family members or others support, and document understanding of treatment plan and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Required 1 Year Speech Therapy Experience
  • Required 1 Year Home Health Experience
  • Preferred Speech Pathologist (SPE
  • State Licensing Board
  • Required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC
  • American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR
  • American Heart Association
  • Required Driver's License
  • Required Auto Insurance
  • Required
