Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Elkhart, United States. As a valued member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential. Your expertise, empathy, and innovative approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients using evidence-based diagnostic tools and techniquesDevelop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs, abilities, and family circumstancesProvide high-quality therapy services using innovative, evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approachesCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, educators, and specialists to ensure holistic and coordinated patient careEducate and empower parents, guardians, and caregivers by providing clear guidance on home-based strategies, exercises, and techniques to support progressMaintain accurate, detailed, and organized patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with regulatory standardsStay current with the latest advancements, research, and best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques into clinical practiceParticipate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinic services and outcomesEnsure full compliance with all relevant accreditation standards, licensing requirements, and healthcare regulationsFoster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment that supports the emotional and developmental needs of patients and their familiesManage caseload efficiently while maintaining flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs and therapeutic prioritiesQualificationsMaster's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institutionCurrent state license and/or certification in speech-language pathologyMinimum one (1) year of clinical experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to applyExcellent oral and written communication skills with strong emphasis on interpersonal and people skillsDemonstrated competency in applying evidence-based principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapyComprehensive knowledge of a wide range of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disordersProficiency with various standardized assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patientsStrong documentation, record-keeping, and organizational skills with attention to detailKnowledge of accreditation standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settingsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environmentWillingness to provide flexible therapy services at our outpatient clinic to accommodate diverse patient needs and scheduling requirementsDemonstrated passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to treatmentStrong time management and caseload management abilitiesCommitment to ongoing professional development, continuing education, and staying current with industry advancementsAbility to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusivityAdaptability and resilience in responding to varied patient needs and therapeutic challengesAdditional InformationLove working with kids!
