Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in Porter County, Indiana, during the 2026 school year. This contract position runs from February 16 to May 28, providing essential speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 90-100 students, aligned with typical full-time SLP responsibilities in the area. Working 30 to 35 hours per week over five days, you will play a vital role in enhancing the communication skills and academic success of young learners.
Key Qualifications:
  • Indiana licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 80-100 students effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school staff
Location:
  • Position may be based in various schools throughout Porter County, Indiana, offering a diverse educational environment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
  • Utilize teletherapy options as needed to ensure consistent student support
