Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this school year by providing speech and language services to students as a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position allows you to apply your therapy skills and passion for communication disorders in a supportive educational setting near Knox, IN.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school environment is an advantage Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a caseload of students, ranging from mild to moderate needs Conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student assessments Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and parent conferences Offer resources and support to educational staff to facilitate classroom strategies Stay informed of best practices and adhere to ethical standards in service delivery Working as a contract SLP in a school setting offers an enriching opportunity to make a tangible difference in children's lives.
