Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting pediatric populations in an engaging school-based setting. This contract opportunity lets you collaborate with educational professionals, address students' diverse communication needs, and support educational success. From working one-on-one with children to teaming up with teachers and families, your expertise will be instrumental in helping students reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, timely records and reports Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' progress and needs Utilize evidence-based interventions and adapt strategies for diverse learning abilities
