Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students each day by delivering expert speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational setting. This contract position provides the opportunity to work closely with children, families, and staff to help students achieve their communication goals. You'll experience a collaborative atmosphere while utilizing your knowledge to foster student growth.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or ability to obtain before start date) Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but open to strong new graduates Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and providing direct/indirect services Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement tailored IEPs Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals and small groups, both in person and through consultation with staff Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and services delivered Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions Foster a positive, inclusive, and developmentally supportive learning environment Perks of the
