Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in the Indianapolis, IN area, serving students in grades K-12. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time assignments, with the part-time role consisting of approximately 2.5 days per week. The settings are school environments focused on providing speech and language support to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments. Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with educational teams. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with a student population across K-12 grade levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary school teams. Ability to adapt therapy methods to various ages and developmental stages. Familiarity with school-based protocols and documentation requirements.Location:
