Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional services within a school setting located in Merrillville, IN. This contract position is open for the 2026/2027 school year and welcomes both certified SLPs with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Candidates can choose between full-time or part-time schedules to fit their professional goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP-CCC certification or eligibility to complete CFY Experience or passion for working with school-aged children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development in an educational environmentResponsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and reports according to school and regulatory standards Participate in regular meetings and professional development activitiesLocation:
