As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients regain their ability to perform daily living and work activities, as well as improving our residents and their loved one's experience. At Spring Mill, you can expect: Dependable, full-time Speech Therapist schedules Great staffing and admission team support Quality, cost-effective health care as well as disability and life insurance after only 60 days of employment Tuition reimbursement Paid vacations and holidays Competitive wages Opportunities to sharpen and grow critical skills Speech Therapists, day-to-day will include: Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty Identifying treatment options Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs Teaching patients how to make sounds while improving their voices and maintaining fluency Helping individuals improve sentence structure and vocabulary used in written and oral language Working with adults and children in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with swallowing and communication disorders What we are looking for: We are looking for a full-time Speech Therapist for our beautiful health campus. Join our Spring Mill team who will appreciate your expertise. An active Indiana professional license for Speech Therapy Compassionate and Patient Strong interpersonal skills, especially when it comes to delivering sensitive information to patients and/or families. Ability to think critically under pressure. Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel. Be able to make independent decisions concerning above job duties. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public. Be knowledgeable of admissions, nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Schedule needs:
