Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Michigan City, IN

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Michigan City, IN, offering a contract role within a school setting. This onsite opportunity entails a 35-hour workweek during the 26-27 school year, focusing on providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate. Prepare detailed, clear reports based on student assessments and observations. Work with students aged 2 to 22 with moderate to severe disabilities. Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and areas for support.

Qualifications:

Must hold or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teaching license from the Department of Education (IDOE). Preferably possess 1 to 2 years of experience as an SLP. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities.
