Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Osceola, United States. As a valued member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, helping them overcome communication challenges and improve their quality of life.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patientsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goalsProvide therapy services using evidence-based techniques and innovative approachesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient careEducate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercisesMaintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentationStay current with the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practiceParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinic's servicesEnsure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirementsFoster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their familiesQualificationsMaster's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institutionCurrent state license/certification in speech-language pathologyMinimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to applyExcellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapyFamiliarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disordersExperience with various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patientsStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsKnowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements in healthcare settingsWillingness to provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic, with flexibility to accommodate patient needsPassion for working with children and a patient, empathetic approach to treatmentAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancementsAdditional InformationLove working with kids!
