Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by sharing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity near Peru, IN offers the chance to work closely with children and educators, cultivating communication skills and empowering student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered Previous experience working with school-age children is highly desirable Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a range of needs, adhering to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments and maintain accurate documentation Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student progress and success Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to educational planning Provide training and resources to support staff and families in fostering communication development
