Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Schererville, IN. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, making it flexible to fit your professional goals and lifestyle. The role supports students in a school setting, providing essential speech and language therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) New graduates who require Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision are encouraged to apply Experience or interest in pediatric speech-language therapy within educational environments Ability to work full-time or part-time during the academic year 2026-2027 Strong communication skills and dedication to student progress and team collaboration
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for school-aged children Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with relevant educational and clinical guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating accessible learning environments
