Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, providing onsite support for students aged 2 to 22. This role offers 35 hours per week in a collaborative, student-focused environment recognized for fostering growth and development in learners with a range of communication needs, from moderate to severe disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs Address complex areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and delays in receptive and expressive language Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as warranted, and deliver clear, insightful assessment reports Write and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives to ensure meaningful student progress Engage with parents and colleagues, exchanging knowledge and discussing student development and intervention strategies Provide support and guidance for students with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds
Qualifications:
Eligible for or currently hold an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher's license from the Department of Education (IDOE) Prefer 1-2 years of SLP experience, especially in school-based settings Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach Ability to adapt, solve problems creatively, and thrive in a dynamic educational setting This position features competitive pay based on your experience, with weekly pay cycles for convenience.
