Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early elementary students in a school setting. This role focuses on providing direct speech and language therapy services to 1st and 2nd-grade students, helping them develop essential communication skills during a critical stage of their educational journey.
Location:
Baldwin City, KS Schedule:
Contract position, onsite preferred, 3 days per week
Duration:
ASAP through the End of School Year (EOSY)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to students in 1st and 2nd grade. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies. Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs and track student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy plans and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence). Previous experience working with early elementary school-aged children preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within an educational team. Commitment to providing onsite therapy services and fostering student growth.
