Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a school-based contract opportunity focused on providing speech-language services to elementary-aged students in a nurturing, supportive environment. If you are an SLP or SLP-CF eager to make a difference in a collaborative educational setting, this role is designed for you. Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals while utilizing your AAC expertise to help students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) Strong foundation working in school settings, particularly with elementary students Proficient experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and interventions Ability to start promptly upon successful interview and offer Commitment to fostering a positive, team-oriented approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting students' speech, language, and communication needs Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services in classroom and individual settings, both on-site and via teletherapy as needed Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes for each student Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and required reports Participate actively in team meetings, IEP development, and goal setting with school personnel
