Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract role is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support students in a school setting located in Lawrence, KS. This position is onsite and requires working three days per week from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The focus will be primarily on supporting 1st and 2nd-grade students, helping them develop critical communication skills that will aid their academic and social success.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language assessments for students Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Providing direct intervention to address speech and language delays or disorders Desired qualifications and experience: Current SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Proven experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably 1st and 2nd graders Ability to provide onsite services in a school environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with educational staff Commitment to supporting inclusive education and tailored student interventions Work schedule is three days per week onsite, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within this focused timeframe.
