Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a flexible, contract-based role for the upcoming school year. This opportunity offers multiple settings across the cooperative area, including infant-toddler programs, K-12, and middle/high school caseloads. If you are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and thrive academically, this role offers a supportive environment with options to work onsite or, for certain positions, in a hybrid format.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Kansas SLP license (CCC preferred) Experience in school-based settings and/or with pediatric populations Ability to work effectively across varied student age groups, from preschool to high school Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and provide direct speech and language therapy to students based on individual education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate case records and collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapy providers Manage a caseload of approximately 10-12 students per day or 50-55 per week, depending on assignment Participate in IEP meetings, assessment teams, and professional development activities Serve as a resource for staff on speech and language concerns Embrace flexible scheduling; full-time and part-time candidates welcome
